Explore what lies out there.
The purpose of writing this blog is mainly to keep friends and family back home informed about my travels and how I’m getting accustomed to life in Berlin. However, I also intend to encourage people to travel, to explore on their own what’s out there, and to not just look for vacations but also for adventures. I must admit that I have been struck by the travel bug, I try to travel for at least three months every year. Back home (Fresno, CA) I work hard and save money in order to finance my trips and I feel proud of it. The satisfaction is greater when it was self financed as you can claim merit for it yourself. So far I have visited 4 countries in South America, but I really want to keep on exploring that continent because it is the place I call home. Ever since I was able to work I have been able to travel for 3 consecutive summers, except for the last one, which I pushed to 8 months thanks to a study abroad program which is taking place now in Berlin and unfortunately coming to an end. During this short stay in Europe I was able to visit 20 countries and still going along with many different cities. The best part about it are the people I have met and the friends I have made.
